K30 - Pendulum pillar

K30 is a dropside pendelum pillar for tippers.
 

K30 is a smart and flexible locking system for tippers. The K30 is available in side, rear and front pillars for dropside heights between 600–1200 mm. The pillar is available in aluminium. 

The height position of the pendulum pin can be adjusted easily for alignment with the pendulum bearing. The K30 pillar is designed for exterior dropsides with a focus on good functionality, high personal safety and easy handling.

Functionality

The K30 pillar is designed for exterior dropsides. The pillar is mounted in a support fitted onto the side rave of the flatbed. 

The K30 has two functions: one to fold down the dropside, the other to achieve a pendulum function by opening the hinges mounted on the side rave.

Design and safety

The height position of the pendulum pin can be adjusted easily for alignment with the pendulum bearing. 

As a safety for the user both handles must be pushed down to the end position in order to release the dropside. The pillar can then be folded out and either hung down or released to give a completely open load area.
